I bought something on CL tonight.

It was a pretty sketchy fit, but i managed to get them in, and then out, without scratching anything! This was also the coolest Craigslist seller I've ever met.

It wasnt the most pleasant ride home, but ill be darned, this prelude has more space than one might think.

Also, the seller was awesome. I pull up to his house, and from the cars in the driveway it was pretty blan. Nothing to write home about. We head into the garage, and lo and behold he has a yellow AP1 S2000 and a red S14 with an sr20 swap just chilling in the garage. Immediately i forget i was there for the seats and just started asking lots of questions!

One of his buddies shows up and start the s14 up, and revs it a few times. The turbo noises were awesome! And then he tells me he has another buddy coming over in an s13 coupe RHD conversion. Now this is just crazy. What are the odds the day i go to buy these seats im surrounded by drift missiles! This was my kind of Craigslist seller.

TLDR:

craigslist seller was home to a missile silo.

Really!? I am just in love with leather interiors. I could give two flips if its extremely cold or super hot in the winter/summer. The feel and comfort is sublime.

Its pretty simple, but i have to cannibalize the stock seats, so i may just find another set of stock seats to cannibalize. Swap the brackets/rails and pans pretty much. If your curious what exactly it entails:

Interestingly if i use EG civic pans, i could gain nearly a 2 inch drop....

My first Cl experience took me to the shady part of town to pick up a new front bumper for my old Jetta
It was probably a chop shop, run by some psychopath. I left as soon as I arrived, haha.

Lol, i feel you. I had to go down to Kearny to pick up some wheels. (which is 5 minutes from Newark NJ, car theft capitol of the us, and possibly the world...) Met the guy at a grocery store and did our business right there in the parking lot. Scariest day of my life thus far.

Haha, I keep a machete in the glovebox if deals go wrong Haha. The only times I find good deals, I end up in the scary part of Baltimore.

Dang bro, you got a big enough glovebox for a machete! I will say i had two of the biggest legal blades i could carry with me. One on me and one in the car. Of course they would never be for self defense as saying that to the cops will get you arrested in this lovely state. They are for opening boxes! Yes, boxes....

Haha ive been close to one of the shady parts of baltimore, like a few blocks from the baseball stadium. But i didnt want to push my luck, so i stayed by the harbor.

Haha, well, i cant quite legally carry a machete around in jersey, unless of course you can, without claiming self defense, prove you have a legitimate need for a nearly 2 foot blade haha. And dont worry, ive got a kabar for opening the really BIG 'boxes'.

Baltimore was really fun! I would go back as i didnt get much time. I wanted to go to the restaurant where apparently IIRC you or the waiters could swear to each other or something like that.

Thats sounds pretty fun actually. Ive always though about cruising through patterson or newark just for lols, but i dont think those would be the places to go just for the lols.

Haha, occasionally I will go car hunting and look for anything interesting. I've found mainly Donks and Ricers. Dc is a great place to go car spotting. I don't live too close, I'd like to be closer.
